Regrowth

I am trying to think of when I'm going to get my hairs did,

only a bitty a regrowth right now but planning ahead.

Last January was ICK & Rough!

I went from THIS... Dec. 2009

 

To THIS... Feb 2010

DRAMATIC!  I know.

So I was dramatic ONCE in my life...

This January has been - DRAMATIC as well, but different Drama.

Still ICK but no hair changes

But, in thinking of ReGrowth... 

I think I'm growing, recreating myself.  

It's hard to do but change is good right?

I feel happier, less settled but more - Guided

Trials make us grow - change - evolve.

I like the word evolve b/c people say... and I agree...

that I've evolved in my journey here in AZ.

Well, it's true, I'm not to good at conforming but growing - I think I'm getting down pat!

I'm going to go pray I don't get Bigger, 

just that things get BETTER!

Near Death Experience

Cleaning out my garage and de-junking, makes me happy.  

I hate it. 

I don't know how I have 4 bags of shredding to do...

Clothes that are now crop tops...

Piles from my car that I dump in my garage, weekly.

Dixie barking at the door to come out, so I put her on a leash & wrap the handle around the handle of the door from my master 'water closet'.  ( I had to remove it, too small of a space in there WITH the door)

The door leans against the wall in the garage and has been there for 3 yrs.  Dix usually just sits & watches.

No sooner had I walked to the edge of the garage - I hear a HUGE slam!!!

I turn around and burst into tears...

the door had SLAMMED (not just hit) my car hood... & slid down the side of the car resting on the garage floor!!!

WHERE IS DIXIE?!

Dead under the door SMOOSHED into the cement?!!

Lifted up the door, no Dix... AAAHH!!  (Freeeaking out!)  

Looking around, Bryn saw her in the street!  She had BOLTED when it started to fall I guess.  Hers was shaking & quivering & scared to death!  

Tender mercy... God knew I couldn't go on with that guilt!  ha!

I think the door wasn't as 'leaning' as it used to be, probably me fidgeting w/ the handle jostled it into free-fall.  

Pfhew!  

As for my car, a BIG white paint streak w/ dent, another 3" big dent & slam waves in the hood.  

What do you do?

I guess just laugh it up to all the other crap going on w/ my car this month!

Top 10 Bad Luck things of 2011... already!

10 - I shopped WAY too much from 12/22 - 1/9

9 - I STILL have zits.  how old am I? eek

8 - My porch window lock broke & I had to put a stick in it to keep robbers out

7 - A neighboring driver told me my right tail light is out.

6 - A fellow driver told me my right back tire was flat, yes, only 15lbs in it.

5 - My hair dryer blew out Sunday mid dry for teaching sharing time - fuzzy hair. 

4 - I almost killed Dixie AND a door fell on my car & dented & scratched it!

3 - My car is still making a hideous noise & 3 people have different ideas of what's wrong.

2 - My HOA SUCKS and does nothing but drive me insane.

1 - My mortgage co. screwed me over on refinancing!

The actor that plays Sheldon, an uber smart, slightly asberger effected scientist WON a Golden Globe last night!

This is one of my favorite moments from the 3rd season, Sheldon hasn't slept, trying to figure a formula out and snaps!  He is very dry and when he makes a funny, he says, "BaZiNgA"!!  Watch it!

The movie THE FIGHTER is THE BEST movie of 2010!  Seriously, it's about relationships, faith in people, persistence - Literally, it's amazing!  Not too much blood, one lingerie scent but This movie has HEART!  It's seriously better than the trailer linked above!

 These 2 were nominated for Golden Globes and WOW their performances were Awe-Inspiring! 

Lastly, my friend told me about this site Tumblr  I guess any pic you see online, you can put it in your Tumbler acct and save it.  Like decor mag's, other blog's, pics from the newspaper.  I looked at hers and it was SO great!  No need to buy magazines again!  And, you can group your pics.  I'm going to check it out! 

Humor of the day

This week has been one huge SHIT SANDWICH

One awesome brunette and her husband have picked me up off the ledge.

SO iMmensLY grAteful for them!!!

So, when the blood bank called and said that a patient needed my BLOOD and could I come in and donate... I immediately said YES!  (pay it forward right?!)

She said, "Really? usually we have to bribe people to come in. Hmmm, well we have free tickets to the Phx Open golf tournament if you want them."  ok.

Today, 3:45 was my turn to save a life.  AWESOME!

The Vampire working there who goes thru 1000 ?'s at warp speed asks,

"have you been out of the country in the last 12 months?"

I blissfully retort, yes, NEW ZEALAND!!!!

She gets the the hauntavirus questions and says, "Now is New Zealand in Europe?"

my eyes widen.  "I'm just going to check the list, hmmm is it in the UK? (checking list)

hmmm, nope"  REALLY?!!

I told her it was over by Australia.

I should have said... it's part of Malasia.  She wouldn't have known where that was either.

Traveling

DREAMY, I wish!!

Oh hers was such a good trooper, we received many 'Ooooh look at the puppy Mommy!'

She was mostly quiet, slight whining when the planes took forever to take off and she had to camp out under the seat.  But I'd give her a B+/B on a graded scale.  (Do they actually give letter grades anymore?)

THIS... is how lovely it was to be IN winter!

We were in Park City post shopping, Jesse wanted to come and yelled at us to get back in the car and wouldn't let us have any hot chocolate b/c it was a waste of $.  How is hot chocolate different from his Diet Coke 7x's a day?  hmmm, hollers later, he reversed into the gas station and Mom and I went in to get a cup of yummy to warm us up!  Look how HAPPY Hot Chocolate made Mommy...

Needless to say, parental overload!  OY!  But now, I miss them :) Awe.

Honestly, I can't think of any RESOLUTIONS.... hmmm.

Brush my teeth every night... Shop less... Read a book a month...

Go to Cali to see my bro more... diet... stop drinking coke...

 But look at how HAPPY I am drinking diet coke!!!

 

Catz, I'm going to do a challenge, I'm going to run 3 x's a week,

I am going to do a Sprint Triathalon this year!!!

Run a 10K (I always say I'm going to) DO IT!!!

(I just made a schedule plan!)

btw, I'm making my way thru a delicious green onion cheese ball, mmm.

Also, It's SO hard never being home in the daylight. :(
When it's dark, I'm not motivated to clean up & such.
Day 1 of back to work... boo.
It's a mild 47 here, snuggle weather.
